The wind here pushes the sands inland, offering us wide dunes known as "Picard dunes". All the typical dune vegetation can be found here. From the beach to further inland, you'll cross dunes of all types: from the embryo dune to the white dune covered with seagrass, and the grey dune covered with mosses and lichen to the dune thickets where sea buckthorn and privet grow … to the delight of the birds who love to eat their berries.
