The Glaisière is a former clay quarry in operation until 1982. After this activity ceased, the site was rehabilitated by the Departmental Council. It is composed of a pond, with steep banks and an island hollowed out in its centre. A wet woodland area occupies part of the site, which also includes typical Bas-Boulonnais woodland meadows and an orchard of local varieties. A walking loop allows you to make your way around this natural area and enjoy the various points of view on offer. Along the way, you’ll look down upon the pond and cross a peaty woodland, all on a fully accessible path.
