Recommandations
The river is a shared space. Please respect the recommendations of the French Canoe and Kayak Federation and the National Federation of Fishing in France:
- fishers must bring their lines back to the bank
- kayakers must pass by seeking to avoid excessive downtime
- communicate with friendly signals: a simple "hello" can change everything!
Important to remember:
Water and Aquatic Environment Act (French LEMA Law) – Art. 1: "Water is part of the nation's common heritage. Its protection, enhancement and the development of its usable resources, in respect for natural balance, are of public interest. The use of water belongs to everyone."
- Respect sailing or fishing conditions and times (contact the Beaurainvillois CK Club)
- Use the embarkation and disembarkation areas provided for this purpose
- Be prepared for meetings between fishers and kayakers:
- fishers must bring their lines back to the bank
- kayakers must pass by seeking to avoid excessive downtime

- Do not cross private property (unless authorised), croplands or grasslands
- Practise your activity with mutual respect for other users and local residents
- Practice your activity in compliance with legislation and with respect for aquatic biodiversity
- Do not litter (paper, cans, plastic packaging, hooks, metal lures and nylon threads)
- Do not throw anything in the water
- Shrubs or any other riparian vegetation must be respected and must not be cut or clipped if they interfere with your activity
