Condette Marsh Regional Nature Reserve

The Lac des Miroirs has lived a thousand lives. Firstly, as a privileged playground for rich owners, before later being converted into a leisure base. Since 2009 it has been listed as a Regional Nature Reserve. Pedalos, boats and games of all kinds have given way to herons, frogs and dragonflies – to the delight of walkers, who come to admire it and recharge their batteries in the rediscovered calm. In summer, the freshness of this trail that snakes its way through the peaty marsh is a welcome break from the heat. In autumn, this vast body of water on the edge of the Hardelot Forest offers us the reflections of the warm shades of trees, mingling beautifully with the blue of the sky.
