These chalk cliffs are man-made. For years, man extracted the limestone he needed. Today restored to nature, they reveal to us some of their – at times distant – secrets. Their face is pierced by a long gallery dating from the Second World War, now a wintering lodge for bats. This site also marks the northern end of Artois and the passage into the Flemish maritime plains.
